Yeah man. Greed, deregulation, monopolies, corruption, and an entrenched desire to maintain this horrible status quo means both political parties stateside keep throwing up the same ideological candidates that can't bring about the needed change for the people. The media plays the game and keeps everyone distracted and mad at each other...

It's the cycles of empire. The political/economic structures ossify and it becomes more about maintaining/defending/preserving them for the sake of personal power than using them to make anything better.

But impossible to know what's going to happen.
