Na J, you’re missing the point. It’s about teens. One can and should have the right to buy all the drain-o, knives, and rope in the world but this is a toxin without any alternative use that teens are having prime-delivered and using. There’s a reason we put cigarettes behind the counter and don’t allow drinking and driving. It’s a positive vs. negative rights debate in the end.
We need to protect our kids from a product that then recommends helpful tools to go with it that they can order with one click. That doesn’t mean any shop owner selling belts will all of a sudden be tried at the Hague.
It’s a very simple, ‘stop selling this product and recommending to children how to off themselves.’
