It isn't reported on more because it isn't a smoking gun. No intelligence agency has adopted that position, and again, nobody has seen the evidence to back up the claim.

Nobody denies the meeting.

I was referencing CrowdStrike's position that they have no evidence of a hack. And if a witness or defendant keeps a consistent story, it lends credibility but obv isn't proof.
