I'm a huge Chris Hedges fan, heard him talk about James Luther Adams on a podcast, and wrote this piece. He was an American who was in Germany, I'm sure he was talking on the subject before he had Hedges in class. It was a narrative choice. And nowhere do I say he was the first or only.

But of course, America has had a fascism problem probably even before The Business Plot/Wall Street Putsch.
