I hear that and completely agree, Lorraine! We definitely need to think outside of the box, be open minded to new ideas, and open to criticize well-intentioned efforts that aren't working.
Peterson, however, denies the existance/drastically downplays all problems--except anything associated with the """radical left"""" he basically denies climate change and he recently said on the Joe Rogan podcast that hunger isn't really an issue--in rich nations--when, in reality tens of millions of Americans go without food.

There is definitely too much dogmatism out there, especially when the cause is righteous. And as you said, "it's worth discerning the meaingful grievance among the noise." Jordan Peterson, in my opinion, is just an absolutely misguided nutter without a meaningful grievance.
