Hey Judy! Respect on knowing the situation and not being one of these ignorant keyboard warriors.

the naval base on Crimea was obv a huge piece of this and the Crimean ppl themselves. and yeah, peaceful means should always be used. Look up the Minsk agreements and how many times they were brought before the international community. It is significant. Nothing justifies an invasion and the killing of civilians, but again, there's a greater context most western media isn't portraying.

The security concerns would be losing that naval base on Crimea and access to the black sea and also having enemy weapons within four minutes striking distance of Moscow. Again, no excuse to invade and kill civilians, but that's the perspective. We need to understand the situation from 360 degrees to achieve peace.

Little to do with Slovenia or Poland or Latvia or my current residency of Czechia. There's context to this situation.
