Haha I've skimmed a few of your pieces for sure, Max. And I respectfully disagree.

The sanctions were unprecedented and meant to shock the economy into tanking, and then we'd get regime change. Our leaders were saying exactly that. If they weathered the first month and being cut from SWIFT, they'll only get stronger while the euro gets weaker and countries continue to replace USD, also hurting America and the war effort.

Call it 'appeasement' but I'm for the end of this war and a stop to the slaughter of civilians. We've seen how useless escalation and sanctions are.

But what the hell do I know. Maybe my pieces will age poorly, maybe your's will. Maybe it'll be something in the middle. time will tell.
