Far Right Surges in Europe — The EU Has No Answers
Inflation, energy prices, and a vapid ideology from Brussels drive a continent-wide descent into fascism
By all measures, Europe is sprinting off of a cliff. And not bad-ass wingsuit bass jumping, where they launch off a huge ledge and flying-squirrel soar through a majestic mountain pass for kilometers before pulling a parachute and drifting gracefully onto the ground to high-five some friends and crack a Pilsner Urquell.
That is very much not what the EU is doing.
Uncle Sam’s junior partner played all their cards way too early, pulled the shoot, and is now being dragged face first through the dirt by the gusting winds of their own sanctions, which will yank them tumbling down the rocky cliff’s edge, and they’ll be extremely lucky to find some footing before permanent damage is done.
European industry could be banished to a second-rate competitor position forever, especially after the Nord Stream sabotage.
Rather than have an ounce of pragmatic debate, Brussels chooses to double down on the current trajectory while inflation skyrockets, gas bills triple across the continent, interest rates get hiked, energy rations are imposed, fears of blackouts have multinationals moving their…
