And NOW liberals love Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Powell, the intelligence agencies, and are rooting for and goading on the next conflict.

Your lived experience is cool and all Stuart but there's actual data and measurable trends that are a bit more relevant when talking politics than cool anecdotal evidence of seeing a few communists at a rally one time a couple decades back.
