For many, it isn't easy to just change jobs because of health insurance, debt, or family reasons, but in the book, most people did switch and didn't last more than a year at COMPLETELY bullshit jobs because it is psychologically maddening.

I think UBI would give people more flexibility to change positions, cities, etc.

Final thought: space exploration rules and is definitely not a waste!
