100% agree that they know where most of the “missing” funds are but just don’t want to reveal the extent. And also I agree Americans are def taught to fear any reduction in military spending.

The domestic situation is just getting to a point where it’d be wise of the military-industrial complex/Pentagon themselves to divert some of those funds into building a few bridges and affordable housing units to stave off the implosion.

We’ll see how it plays out.
